Ontario 360° Tours Brings Caledonia to Life in 360°!

Ontario 360° Tours is making its way to the beautiful town of Caledonia on Friday, April 25, 2025, to capture its spirit, history, and local pride — and the team couldn’t be more excited!

As part of their mission to help communities celebrate their own hidden gems, Ontario 360° Tours is filming a series of immersive 360° videos that showcase the very best of what Caledonia has to offer. While they help drive tourism, their true goal runs even deeper — helping locals reconnect with their towns, supporting small businesses, and bringing back that sense of pride that comes from seeing hometown favorites celebrated.

Over and over again, Ontario 360° Tours has heard the same surprising stories: businesses share that locals often don’t even know they’re there, and longtime residents express shock at discovering places they had lived beside for years without realizing it. It’s these hidden treasures — the overlooked gems tucked into main streets and side roads — that Ontario 360° Tours loves bringing into the spotlight.

Ontario 360° Tours creates narrated, high-quality 360° videos that let people explore towns, businesses, parks, and attractions across Ontario virtually before visiting in person. Their multilingual platform makes it easy for a broader audience to discover and appreciate these incredible communities.

One of their stops in Caledonia includes Second Chance Records at 20 Argyle Street North. Owned by Cody and his team, this incredible shop takes pride in being one of Canada’s foremost online and retail record stores. With a huge selection of vinyl, CDs, cassettes, and music memorabilia, it’s a treasure trove for music lovers of all kinds. Beyond the shelves, it’s the welcoming vibe, the deep knowledge, and the genuine love for music that make Second Chance Records truly special. Cody and his team aren’t just selling records — they’re keeping the spirit of music alive in the heart of Caledonia. It’s the kind of place visitors can lose track of time in, flipping through albums and trading stories.

The team is also excited to be filming at Haldimand House Market Place, a cornerstone of Caledonia’s heritage. Although they have not yet met Chris, the owner, it’s clear he takes immense pride in preserving this historic landmark. Restorations are lovingly kept up to maintain the vintage charm — and while Ontario 360° Tours won’t give too much away just yet, the full 360° view will be something to watch for.

Of course, no visit would be complete without capturing the charm of downtown Caledonia, the beauty of Kinsmen Park, and the town’s iconic Caledonia Bridge — a nine-span concrete bowstring arch bridge, often referred to as a “rainbow arch bridge.” Built in 1927, it stands as a proud historic landmark and is designated as part of the Caledonia Heritage Conservation District. It’s not just a bridge — it’s a piece of living history connecting generations of Caledonia’s residents.

Ontario 360° Tours isn’t just about videos — it’s about filling a gap. They are here to shine a spotlight on the businesses, parks, landmarks, and stories that make Ontario’s communities so extraordinary. It’s about inspiring locals to fall in love with their towns all over again, encouraging neighbors to support neighbors, and reminding everyone just how special their hometown truly is.

If you happen to see the Ontario 360° Tours team around Caledonia on Friday, make sure to say hello!

They would love to hear your favorite memories, your fun local stories, and your suggestions for must-see spots. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or new to town, there’s always a story worth sharing, and the team wants to hear it.
